Babies Like Chocolate Too!

So Ruby is so efficient in her walker it's crazy. I left the fridge open the other day for a minute and in that time she was able sneak out the chocolate syrup. She wasn't terribly happy that I took it away. I may be the meanest mom ever.

What is it with my kids putting stickers on their younger siblings? Lyda did it to Kode and now Kode has done it to Ruby. Pretty funny I think.

Oh How Time Flies

Well it has finally happened. Lyda has started kindergarten. She woke up last Monday at 6:30 am and said "Mom, today is my big day". She was pretty anxious to start and there were no tears on either side when we dropped her off. While she really enjoys going to school, she does think that there are too many rules. The one that she was pretty upset about was the "no whistling" rule. She is quite proud that she can whistle and does it all the time without thinking about it. Things have really changed around the house now that she's gone for most of the day. It is a bit more peaceful around here, but Kode and I really do miss her. I love knowing that she is off learning, making new friends and having a good time, but I feel like a part of me is missing while she's gone.
