Wild Hair

This kid wakes up with some of the most amazing hairstyles you've ever seen.  This was a particularly wild day.  He has double cowlicks which makes long hair work better on him, but also provides extra volume.

Family Pictures 2012

AHHH! It has been so long since I've posted, I'm feeling so far behind. I hope to catch up on Ruby and Kode's birthdays, Christmas and New Year's and maybe a little about this new person in our house. Sheesh, so much has happened in the last 4 months. But instead of playing catch up tonight, I will just post some new family pictures. We have been wanting to take family pictures up near Steve's family cabin. The area is special to us and we are really happy to finally have some pictures of the place we love. And we are super grateful to Jessica for taking them for us!

While saying the prayer recently
Kode: please bless that tomorrow we won't get our butts kicked
Me: um, probably not the most appropriate thing to say in a prayer
Kode: (resumes prayer) k, forget that butt kicking part


Ruby: Mom you are a good mom.
Me: why's that?
Ruby: Because you say all of the right things that I like.


Kode: Mom will you do ____________ for me?
Me: I'm already doing ___________ for you. I can't do everything at the same time.
Kode: I wish you were an octopus so you could do lots of things for me all at the same time.



Me: Kode do you know who's socks these are?
Kode: Mine
Me: Where did they come from cause I didn't buy them.
Kode: I don't know, I just keep finding them on my feet.
