Laguna Beach

After our trip to Disneyland, we headed to Laguna Beach before heading back home. The funny thing about the beach is that it really is too cold for swimming suits. We freeze our tails off but we have a blast anyway.

Steve decided to share some of our snacks with the birds. It was pretty entertaining to watch, but when he was done the birds wouldn't go away. They were pretty bold, trying to lift up jackets and things looking for food.

Steve and the kids dug a whole and then waited for the water. They were super excited and nervous as they waited for the waves to come rolling in.

This is what Ruby and I did while the others dug in the sand. She was freezing so I zipped her up in my jacket with me.

Steve and Lyda spent a lot of time playing in the waves. They were so cute to watch.

After we rinsed off the kids we headed across the street and found ice cream and caramel apples. It was such a nice treat to eat on the beach. And those who chose ice cream were frozen by the end of our trip.

Another super fun day at the beach. Man I wish we lived closer to one.
